New York Theta wins Grand Chapter

June 2021

The New York Theta chapter of Phi Kappa Psi was awarded Grand Chapter, the most prestigious award issued by our national organization. This is New York Theta's third time winning this award.

New Alumni Advisor

Brother Matthew Chabot (217) has been appointed as the new Alumni Advisor. Matt brings his past experince as President of NY Theta, as well as a network, entrepreneurial endeavors, and life lessons to the chapter.

Winter Warrior

February 2019

This year, Phi Psi hosted the fifth annual Winter Warrior, and it was a huge success! We increased out total donations from less than $2,000 to over $3,000, and we more than tripled the number of teams from 19 to 68; a result of many changes to the structure and an overhaul in the PR for the event.

Grant Pearce has just been elected IFC President!

Mud Tug XI is Another Successful Event

Mud Tug 21 has raised $12,427 in donations that are being split between Hillside Family of Agencies and the MLD Foundation. Good job!

Caffeine Initiative

For the last two years we've done what we call the Caffeine Initiative. We bring coffee and or energy drinks to the library to students studying for finals. This year we added Clif bars so they can have something to eat! Good luck on finals everyone!!

Relay for Life

The Phi Kappa Psi team raised over $1,000 of the $70,000 that Relay For Life at RIT raised last night. Here are the 14 brothers that made it to the very end, picture taken circa 6:15am. Congratulations to the Colleges Against Cancer team for planning such a successful, amazing event. Your hard work will be appreciated by hundreds of families and the fighters they are supporting.

Phi Psi at the Career Fair

First Annual Winter Warrior

On Saturday, brothers were led by Nick Daversa and Trevor McClennon, and joined by the brothers of Sigma Chi - Lambda Kappa in the first annual Winter Warrior. The event was a 9 part obstacle course testing the speed, and stamina of contestants. The first annual Winter Warrior raised over $900 for the Veteran's Outreach Center of Rochester! Thank you to the brothers of Sigma Chi for teaming up with us and planning the event, and thank you to everyone that braved the cold and came out to support.

RIT Impact Retreat

New York Theta represented at RIT's Impact retreat that was held February 6-8. This is an all Greek leadership retreat focused on building teamwork and recruitment skills held by RIT's Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Thank you RIT for the opportunity and to the Brothers participating!

Christmas at the Boys and Girls Club

The Brothers of Phi Kappa Psi helped out at The Boys and Girls Club of Rochester by wrapping a room full of gifts for the kids that attend. They went back the next day to help Santa give them out! It is such a rewarding feeling to see the joy in the children's faces when they recieve them!
