Adopt a Shelf!

We are calling on departments and offices* to help us meet our highest demands and support our culture of sharing at RIT. By adopting a specific FoodShare pantry shelf, your unit will play a vital role in ensuring a consistent supply of the items our users need most.
*You do not need to be an RIT office or department to sponsor a shelf!

Adopt-a-shelf partners will be assigned a specific item(s) from our needs list, including options like canned meats, pasta, and breakfast foods. Partnering units can support FoodShare by fundraising or donating items as supplies run low. Adopt-a-shelf participants will receive free advertisement in our FoodShare locations and exclusive sponsor recognition perks, all while making a lasting impact on our RIT community. Participation in the program is flexible and non-binding.

To join the program or learn more, please contact Sinclaire Ogof at sjorli@rit.edu.
