Academic Requirements

With one of the three Cardinal Principles of Phi Delta Theta being Sound Learning, we take academics very seriously at the New York Eta Chapter, and pride ourselves on our continued success.

We believe our chapter is now thriving to the point where we can be even more focused than ever on maintaining a high GPA for each and every one of our members. Academics is not the only thing that matters in college, but without strong academics everything else will suffer. One cannot be a strong and respected college man in any capacity without strong academics. That is why we focus on them to be the very best version of ourselves.

In order to be considered for membership, an individual must have a CGPA of 2.75 and above, as opposed to the 2.5 GPA RIT requirement.

From weekly academic support sessions to a committed scholarship chair, we at Phi Delt make sure that you seriously pursue your college education. If a brother is struggling academically, the chapter is equipped with ample resources to assist them.
