About Us

NOWCAN at RIT is dedicated to the advocacy of women’s rights and gender equality through the National Organization for Women’s six core issues: women's health, ending violence against women, economic justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial justice, and constitutional equity. This organization strives to create an inclusive community empowering students to create the positive change they want to see in their communities and amplify diverse perspectives through education, collaboration, and community service.

Members Benefits

While not required, all members have the option to become official acting members of the National Organization for Women by paying annual dues.

Dues are set at $35, but individuals are permitted to pay as little as $10.

All individuals are granted a free one-year membership upon joining the chapter
