Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) as saying, "Among the actions and good deeds for which a believer will continue to receive reward after his death are knowledge which he taught and spread, a good son whom he left behind, or a copy of the Qur'an which he left as a legacy, or a mosque he built, or a house which he built for the traveler, or a stream which he caused to flow, or a sadaqa (charity) which he gave from his property when he was alive and well, for which he will continue to receive reward after his death." (Ibn Majah and Baihaqi)

How we spend our funds

The prayer room, along with wudu' stations, halal food options, Jumu'ah salah, and a wide array of events, workshops, and activities—ranging on-campus walks and distributions of Islamic informational materials and school supplies—reflect the concerted efforts of students and the Muslim Chaplain to foster the Islamic spirit on campus, by Allah's grace. These offerings, including tafseer sessions and more, have been maintained through years of dedicated effort, albeit at significant financial costs."

1.

Events

We allocate our budget to provide a variety of food and refreshments, as well as the essential supplies needed to run our events smoothly.

2.

Resources

Islamic informational materials, such as Qur'an translations and pamphlets, will be readily available for the campus community to collect.

3.

Maintainence

A portion of our budget is dedicated to maintaining the prayer room and wudu stations.

4.

Relief & Support

Our budget extends to aid relief efforts contributing to the well-being of those in need both within and beyond our community.
