Since the inception of the Omega Chapter, our Hermanos have focused on providing different programs and initiatives catered towards providing students of color with the academic, cultural and social support necessary to excel in institutions of higher learning.
Below you will find some of our annual events!

P.A.T.H.E. Month

For this month long initiative we works with various campus/community groups to host programs & service opportunities centered around higher education. Additionally, we raise funds and collect school supplies for our annual school supply drive

Lambda Week & Founder's Week

Lambda Week (Fall Semester) & Founder's Week (Spring Semester) are both week long initiatives dedicated to promoting our organizational values while showcasing and highlighting the Latinx culture & community within the Greater Rochester Area

Lambdaween

Our annual Halloween party open to students attending the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, Nazareth College & St. John Fisher College! All proceeds from this event go towards funding our annual Noche Dorada Scholarship Banquet

Lambda Turkey Drive

During the holiday season our Hermanos collected non-perishable food items & raise funds to purchase turkeys to donate to local Rochester Food Pantries

Brown & Gold Christmas

During the holiday season our Hermanos host a clothing drive to donate to local Rochester clothing distribution centers

Noche Dorada Scholarship Banquet

Noche Dorada is our chapter's annual scholarship banquet where we bring the community together for a buffet style dinner, performances, keynote speakers, a scholarship presentation & an opportunity to network with members of the community. Applications for this scholarships open in the begining of the Spring semester
