A-Space is a group dedicated to establishing a safe space for those on the asexual and aromantic spectrum to meet and talk and learn and share ideas. Anyone on either spectrum, or anyone questioning whether they may be on either spectrum, is welcome to attend meetings. Meetings will mostly consist of a social aspect, a learning aspect, and a group discussion aspect, with group activities interspersed throughout each semester. A Space will also work together with the larger LGBTQIAP+ community and other queer organizations at RIT to make sure that the A is both accurately represented and included.

Aero Design is a student-led, multidisciplinary engineering performance team focused on designing, manufacturing, and testing small-scale RC aircraft. The team makes a brand new aircraft from the ground up every year to compete in AIAA DBF competition. Team members gain experience with aerodynamic and structural design and analysis concepts, CAD modeling, propulsion systems, composite material construction methods, and the engineering process as a whole.

Agape Christian Fellowship (ACF) is an evangelical Christian campus ministry that was established in 1995 serving the University of Rochester, the Eastman School of Music, and the Rochester Institute of Technology.

We are a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural student group devoted to learning, understanding, and applying Biblical truths into our lives. The primary focus of this fellowship is to minister to students through teaching, training, and guiding them in the ways of the Lord, during their years of undergraduate and graduate studies. We are here to provide the student body with an environment where students can develop and build upon their spiritual foundations and meet other students who share that same desire.

We seek to foster a community of believers throughout the Rochester area who will support each other in living the Christian life and to disciple students through small groups, Bible studies, large group meetings, accountability, serving the community, good Scriptural teachings, and fellowship. "Arnold Air Society (AAS) is a professional, honorary, service organization advocating the support of aerospace power. Rochester Institute of Technology is home to the Colonel Andrew J. Dougherty Squadron, which has existed since 1986.

Detachment 538's Arnold Air Society squadron and Silver Wings chapter has been setting the example at the regional and national levels. Arnold Air Society has held Region Headquarters for the northeast region in 1989, 1994, 2004, 2006, 2012, 2015, and 2025. The squadron also served as the National Headquarters in 2014. Silver Wings, re-activated in 2013, has also seen a lot of recent success, serving as the National Headquarters in 2015 and 2021."

Founded in 2003, the RIT Ballroom Dance Club is a social club sponsored by Student Government that focuses on providing students and interested persons of all skill levels with instruction and the resources necessary to become involved in recreational or competitive ballroom dance. No partner or experience is necessary; our only requirement is that you have fun!

We expose regular members to the majority of traditional ballroom and latin/rhythm dances, primarily providing instruction for waltz, tango, foxtrot, cha-cha, rumba, and east coast swing in both the American and International styles. On occasion, instruction for dances not on our typical syllabus, such as bolero and Viennese waltz, may also be provided.

We're just a small part of a larger community of dance clubs on the RIT campus. Therefore, we encourage our members to experiment with new and different styles of dance in order to improve their individual ability, meet new people, and achieve a more rounded knowledge of dance in general.

If you didn't know, RIT Wellness offers beginner ballroom and latin classes (that count toward your graduation requirements!) as well as intermediate classes for more experienced dancers. As RIT’s first-ever basketball analytics club, we aim to bring together a new group of students who share a passion for the beautiful game of basketball. While our basketball teams here at RIT each have around 12–15 active players, it’s simply not true to think those are the only students who love the sport. And it’s also not true to say that the only people who understand basketball are the ones who play it.

There are a lot of students who may not have skills to play the game on the highest level, but have the brains to understand it. Our campus is full of intelligent students who can offer fresh perspectives on basketball insights. Providing RIT’s bright minds with access to basketball statistics not only helps players and coaches make better decisions on the court, but also gives students hands-on analytical experience in a field they’re truly interested in.

We want to help every student grow as analytical thinkers not only in basketball, but in any challenge they may face. By understanding fundamental concepts and learning how to break down complex problems, we believe individuals will be ready for whatever obstacles come their way. If basketball can serve as a model for exploring how to approach these challenges, our potential to learn and excel truly becomes limitless.

Establishing a basketball analytics club creates a beneficial environment for everyone. We can support both the men’s and women’s basketball teams by building detailed scouting reports and offering thorough player evaluations. Which may ultimately help them win more games. At the same time, our students will gain experience by working on hands-on projects they can showcase in an online portfolio, boosting their resumes and professional profiles.

Caring Hearts For RIT Cats seeks to provide care, comfort, and security to RIT feral cats, strays, and kittens on and surrounding RIT's campus. We are these animals' voices and their advocates and we believe it's our responsibility to make sure they are happy, healthy, and well fed. We make this a reality, by recruiting volunteer feeders to make sure they have access to food every day of the week and by ensuring they are neutered or spayed so the cat colonies will not grow out of control. We fundraise money to pay for vet visits, food, and shelter materials and if any cat is or was domestic, we make sure they go to happy, responsible, loving homes. We also educate the community about feral cats and what to do if they can no longer care for their cat.

We build the cleaner, faster, and smarter snowmobiles of tomorrow. Recently, this has included the development of one of the world’s first plug-in hybrid snowmobiles. This club allows for you to apply what you learn in the classroom to a more authentic environment. All of the team’s projects are chosen, designed, completed, and presented by members. Every major and walk of life has a place on this team. Even more importantly, our amazing and welcoming upperclassmen will teach you any skill that you want to explore! This includes riding snowmobiles!

Our team places a large emphasis on modifying existing snowmobiles to run cleaner while maintaining the performance that the power sports industry offers. Reaching this goal involves improving fuel economy, reducing emissions, and lowering noise pollution. These modifications must also be done with the snowmobile industry in mind, meaning maintaining performance, handling, and cost. All this preparation is for our annual competition where we face off against over a dozen other universities in different dynamic and static events. The dynamic events test the capabilities of the snowmobile and include acceleration, cold start, endurance / fuel economy, noise testing, emissions, and handling. The static events include a technical design paper and presentation, and defending industry impact through value benefit and sales presentations. In short: we improve the impact snowmobiles have on the environment while keeping them fun to ride!

Participants modify existing snowmobiles to be cleaner. RIT Effective Altruism is a club for discussing the foundations and applications of the "Effective Altruism" movement.
The basic premise of Effective Altruism is trying to figure out how to do "the most good".
The movement has a heavy focus on philosophy and research, and generally applying methods of rationality to problems, the most common framework used to assess the importance of an issue is looking at how large, tractable, and neglected it is. We apply ideas from fields ranging from economics to psychology to ethics, to try and solve them.
Effective Altruism is based on the idea that while helping others is good, not all forms of this are equal, and it is morally imperative to use evidence and reason to do good in the best ways possible. This is usually focused on charitable giving, but also relates to career choice, politics, and consumer decisions as well.
While giving your time and resources to one good cause versus another may feel the same to you, there can be a difference in impact on the scale of hundreds or even thousands for some uses versus others.
The biggest specific subareas of interest within Effective Altruism are global health and development, factory farming, and the long term future.

The purpose of the Her Campus at RIT organization is to provide a safe and inclusive online space for RIT's students through content that is both a resource and a source of entertainment, highlighting campus news, events, interesting students, faculty, alumni, campus photos, and fashion and lifestyle content specifically tailored for women at RIT. Though the demographic for Her Campus is mainly directed towards women, Her Campus at RIT welcomes all gender identities, including non-binary students to join as well. We want to allow everyone's voices to be heard. Staff members will gain writing and journalism experience, including a good sense of teamwork and meeting deadlines. All students at Her Campus RIT will gain a new support system and the opportunity to share their writing through this online publication.

Irish dancing is a very social, lively and engaging activity. This club brings together experienced dancers who wish to continue their passion for Irish step with those who have never danced before. Our weekly meetings foster a laid-back environment where we focus on the basic technical form of Irish dance, choreograph performance numbers in our "ghillies" and "heavy shoes" and learn ceili dances that have been passed down through Irish culture for generations! The purpose of MiPA at RIT is to support underrepresented groups in the fields of physics and
astronomy. MiPA at RIT aims to further the interests of, and develop a sense of community
among, individuals within RIT’s physics and astronomy programs who identify as members of
groups that are underrepresented and marginalized (either in the department specifically or the
broader fields of physics and astronomy). Examples of these underrepresented groups include
(but are not limited to):
- Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals
- Gender and sexual minorities, including cis women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, transgender,
gender non-conforming, or non-binary individuals
- Individuals with disabilities
- Individuals who are the first in their family to attend undergraduate or graduate school,
and non-traditional students
- Individuals from low socio-economic backgrounds
- Individuals from religious minority groups of any region
MiPA and all MiPA-hosted events are intended to be safe and welcoming spaces for all
