About Us

As RIT's first Irish Dance club, our dancers strive to spread Irish culture and cheer around RIT's campus by showcasing Ireland's traditional form of dance. Irish dancing is a very social, lively and engaging activity. This club brings together experienced dancers who wish to continue their passion for Irish dance with those who have never danced before. Our weekly meetings foster a laid-back environment where we focus on the basic technical form of Irish dance, choreograph performance numbers in our soft shoes and hard shoes and learn ceili dances that have been passed down through Irish culture for generations! We hope to share our love of Irish dance with RIT's campus community through performances and events.
