The purpose of this organization is to foster and sustain an awareness of the ALANA community as being an integral part of RIT, and to the surrounding community. ACA will move for the promotion of enrolling more ALANA students and the hiring of more ALANA faculty and staff that would be beneficial to the student body. This government will work toward correcting institutionalized racism and it will work for the betterment of all by which we, as a government, can supply information regarding financial, cultural, educational, political, and employment opportunities. It is our aim to establish a central network of communication and to create a greater sense of understanding among ALANA and other students at RIT.
