"I am always inspired by the people around me and the art I see in my everyday life. When I am around other creatives and hearing different perspectives on certain prompts, it inspires me to look at something from a new perspective and see how I can get out of my comfort zone and create something new and innovative in that way. Whether it be music, theater, visual arts, or more, it always makes me want to push myself and see how I myself can create something that tests limits and makes someone else look at something in a new, creative way.
My cultural ties are also a big factor in inspiring me to create and innovate. Being Salvadoran, I grew up observing cultural art pieces and clothing that in turn has caused me to gravitate towards certain styles in art and in turn, I always try to see how I can bring my culture and my heritage in my work."
