Financial Management Association

The RIT Financial Management Association is a Saunders College of Business club dedicated to the advancement of student-centric investing. FMA manages a $300,000+ Stock and ETF investment portfolio.

Each week we discuss our portfolio standings, have stock pitches for both buying and selling, and have club discussion regarding news events.

Our meetings are every Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00pm in LOW-1225.

Eddie DiTomasso

Eddie is a fourth-year in Saunders College of Business studying Finance and Management Information Systems. He joined FMA in 2020 and was an analyst for the technology sector before becoming portfolio manager and vice president. Eddie recently completed his second internship at Goldman Sachs.

Portfolio Manager

Jake O'Connor

Jake is a third year Finance major with a minor in MIS. Last year he was an Analyst for the Industrials sector of the FMA portfolio.

He also interned last summer as an FP&A intern at Johnson Controls.

He is looking to continue his personal and career development as the Portfolio Manager for FMA this year.

Carlos Bindert

Carlos is a third-year student at RIT majoring in Supply Chain Management, striving towards the goal of a world driven by technology that works better for everyone. Within FMA, he oversees the club budget and website. Beyond FMA, he is the Chief of Staff for the Institute for Youth in Policy, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Olivia McDonald

Olivia is a second year Accounting and Finance major. She joined last year where they became the analyst for the Real Estate Investment Trust sector of the portfolio.

In the future, Olivia will be continuing on to obtain her MBA here at Saunders as well as sitting for her CPA.

Brian Yan

Brian is a second year accounting and finance double major who originally joined FMA to learn more about equity markets. After getting more involved with the club, Brian became the analyst for the financial sector of FMA's portfolio. In the future, Brian plans to embark on a career that utilizes both analytical accounting and knowledge of financial markets.
