Mission
Goalball is a team sport designed specifically for athletes with a vision impairment. Participants compete in teams of three, and try to throw a ball that has bells embedded in it into the opponents' goal. The ball is thrown by hand and never kicked. This sport has no able-bodied equivalent. Athletes that do not have vision impairment or who are partially sighted are able to participate as well with the use of blindfolded goggles.

Our mission is to increase physical health through learning Historical European Martial Arts. We use traditional texts and modern interpretations to teach club members how to use traditional European weapons, with a focus on German longsword. Additionally, we discuss how different types of weapons would be used and how to stay safe when practicing.

Kali is a Filipino martial arts based on weapons fighting. Specifically, we practice Marcaida Kali developed by Doug Marcaida. We want to pass on the goals Doug has set fourth with his form of martial arts for the purpose of self defense or general wellness.

We have equipment to be used for sparing so that you may see what it is really like to be in a situation where you must defend yourself from weapons (the sparing gear is all padded). We also have Anthony Palmer (a student of Doug Marcaida) come teach specialized classes where he will go in depth about a principle of Marcaida Kali.

Welcome to RIT's Running and Multisport club! This club welcomes members of all running, biking and swimming abilities and interests.

We were founded in 1993 and started out as an all female running club. In the Fall of 2003, club membership was expanded to include men and women, and the name was changed to the RIT Running Club. In 2013 the Running Club merged with the Multisport Club (formerly known as the Triathlon Club), to become the Running and Multisport Club.

Purpose: To promote health and fitness through cross country running, triathlons, and other activities.

Goals:
* To provide a more balanced running community at RIT
* To offer support and encouragement through a team atmosphere
* To bring positive recognition to RIT through racing and by being active in the community

The ancient art of Hacky Sack, also known by other names such as Footbag, Bean Bag Ballet, and Foot Folly, has been providing boundless entertainment to the masses for centuries. Through its gravitational social atmosphere, this sacred dance is said to have the ability to turn a group of strangers into lifelong friends.
As a student organization created in testament to this transcendental activity, our mission is to master the art of nonchalant kicks whilst fostering an atmosphere of frivolous camaraderie. We plan to not just be mere players, but social alchemists; providing all those who wish to participate with a sanctuary away from the stresses of everyday life.
No matter your athletic ability or social background, everyone is welcome to practice the sport of sack manipulation. As long as you come willing to learn, we will embrace you with open arms.
