Welcome to RIT's Running and Multisport club! This club welcomes members of all running, biking and swimming abilities and interests. We were founded in 1993 and started out as an all female running club. In the Fall of 2003, club membership was expanded to include men and women, and the name was changed to the RIT Running Club. In 2013 the Running Club merged with the Multisport Club (formerly known as the Triathlon Club), to become the Running and Multisport Club.
Purpose: To promote health and fitness through cross country running, triathlons, and other activities.
Goals: *To provide a more balanced running community at RIT * To offer support and encouragement through a team atmosphere * To bring positive recognition to RIT through racing and by being active in the community * Personal improvement of each runner's ability with respect to his/her own goals
We are open to all levels and experiences!
Monday-Friday: 6:15 pm
Saturday: Park runs, info in Discord
Location: Lower Track, Gordon Field House as shown (Spot A normally, B if field house in use)

How do I join? Can I join late? Are there tryouts?
Just show up anytime, everyone is welcome :)
I’m a new runner / fast runner, will I have people to run with?
We have lots of people of different skill levels. Normally, we send 3 running plans each day aimed at different experience levels.
Why is there “multisport”? How much running is there?
We mostly run but will regularly do triathlon days or other game days and vote on a sport to enjoy with the club. (like volleyball, soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, etc). Check the Discord to see!
