A few of the MANY reasons to join RIT Circle K

  • Circle K is not specific to any field, so you have the opportunity to meet people from a diverse range of majors, backgrounds, and interests
  • Many of our service events are off-campus, which is a great way to learn more about the Rochester and Upstate NY area
  • If you love volunteering or need service hours, we have community service opportunities almost every weekend
  • We have many interclub and district events where you can meet other passionate students from various colleges across New York state
  • We do lots of cool service and social activities!!!

FAQs

What if I can't join the meetings but would still like to be involved in Circle K?

No worries! After each meeting, we will post the meeting minutes to our Discord so that you can stay updated. We also have many service and fellowship events that take place outside of meetings, usually at various times during the weekend. Everyone is welcome to sign up for these events, even if you can't make it to meetings! Make sure to join our Discord to stay updated and sign up for events!

What typically happens at the regular meetings?

  • Our weekly meetings usually kick off with recapping recent club events, sharing information about upcoming events, and giving other general club updates. Then, we jump into a fellowship or service activity!

What is the time commitment like?

  • You can dedicate as much or as little time to Circle K as you would like! Regular meetings are one hour a week, and service/fellowship events are typically during the weekend and usually a few hours at most; however, none of the meetings or service/fellowship events are required.

    I don't have a car. Can I still go to off-campus events?

  • Yes! We organize carpools for all of our off-campus events.
