Mission Statement

The College Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization that serves as RIT’s premier organization for event planning and campus programming.

The mission of CAB is to provide a diverse and unique assortment of events to entertain and engage students outside of the classroom. CAB prides itself on creating, planning, and executing quality events in collaboration with campus partners for the RIT community.

Major Events

Who’s coming to RIT? CAB also plays a key role in organizing large festivals with Student Life. FallFest, FreezeFest, and SpringFest are the places to be for giveaways and weekends full of fun!

General Events

What's happening on campus? CAB hosts exciting events like Karaoke Night, the Mentalist Show, and Trivia Night every month to give students the opportunity to meet new people and explore.

Recreation and Travel

Where are we going? If you’re thinking about exploring the Greater Rochester Area and beyond, look no further. There are trips to the zoo, museums, Niagara Falls, skiing lodges, and many more fun and unique locations to explore with this division!

CAB Cinema

When is it starting? Fantastic movies on Fridays that are free to students and often offering giveaways playing on whichever day of the week that works best!

Special Events

Are you graduating? Events for any graduating seniors or students with fourth-year status or higher to attend. These events range from brewery tours and winery tours off campus to cap decorating and trivia night. It also includes all of the larger events like the Gala and Grad Week, so soon-to-be graduates, stay informed!
