We are the Rochester Institute Technology Student Branch of ASCE. As an RIT ASCE Student member, you have the chance to participate in events and meet the people that can kickstart your learning and provide real world experience!
With a full suite of programs and resources to help you thrive, enrollment in the FREEASCE Student membership provides you with the knowledge and opportunities you’ll need to jump into the industry, get on the right career path, and have fun doing it!
Symposia take place in the spring (typically mid-April) and includes intercollegiate competitions, professional development opportunities, and networking events, all as a celebration of civil engineering and the ASCE community. Since 1996, RIT has been a consistent competitor at this annual symposium.
Winners of select regional student symposia competitions will be invited to compete nationally at the ASCE Civil Engineering Student Championships during the summer!
