About Us
The College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Peer Navigator Program is a student-centered initiative coordinated by the Office of Student Services in the College of Liberal Arts to support the success of students enrolled in academic programs in the College of Liberal Arts. Peer navigators help CLA students adjust to the academic and social demands of life at RIT by serving as a comfortable, non-intrusive source for assistance. They are successful second, third, and fourth year students who are enrolled in a College of Liberal Arts degree program as their primary major. Peer Navigators provide direct assistance to prospective students and their families, first year and transfer students, and current enrolled students through a variety of delivery methods including Academic Day, office hours in the Office of Student Services and the CLA Student Lounge, academic and social events, and virtual contact.
