About Us
ASCE focuses on preparing upcoming civil engineers for a career in engineering and construction through workshops, presentations, and involvement in our two competitive teams: Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge. These two teams provide students with the opportunity to meet new peers, learn about the pieces of managing a successful project (planning, design, testing, funding, construction, coordination, teamwork, etc.), and learn hands-on skills that aren't taught in a classroom. Between these teams and the workshops we hold for students, ASCE's ultimate goal is to prepare students for a successful career in their desired sector.
