Image Description: A quiet moment by a frozen river under a patchy blue sky. Steps appear to make tracks through about a foot of snow. Frozen bare trees accentuate the frame of the photo. Stillness and light.
I've connected with a good amount of you already and I haven't even been back to campus yet! It's been a good week of orientation, emailing, and phone calls for PCC but it's time to get back to life in person. Do you want to get lunch or coffee over the next few weeks? Are you happy with your classes this semester? I can't wait to hear how things are going and how we'll pace ourselves until the Spring thaw... when it happens. Welcome back, PCC. It's going to be a good year. Blessings, dear folks.

Tonight! Music & Meaning:
Here we are for our first program of 2024, Music and Meaning. In our first installment we're going to explore Winter Songs. What're those cozy toasty songs that help you walk steadily through the season? What's some music that feels reflective, and what are the feelings there? Some of us like sad boi look out the window songs but that's because we have big feelings and nobody understands.
What began as karaoke club is becoming more experiential, a blend of performance and chill reflection where we can feel music together. PCCers are welcome to sing, sign, or play the song for our gathered group. We learn so much about each other by sharing music and seeing how the Spirit of God can show up in our ears and heart. See you tonight?

We need your help:
Hey there, PCC. Big things are happening for us this semester! We're doing our first fundraising Lenten appeal with the office of advancement to secure PCC's future at RIT. And we need Ambassadors to help!
No need to take any steps just yet, I'm bringing the world early so you can consider helping us grow, low pressure. Thanks for thinking on it, let me know if you have any questions. |
