Canandaigua Lake reminds us all to catch up and slow down.
This newsletter's an expectant one. Classes have begun; this is one opportunity to peruse life on campus and consider how your year looks without too much weight. See you tonight for some pizza and good conversation; we've needed it. Let's take this opportunity to ease in and find the grace we can. Welcome back, folks.

Join us for lively and fun theological conversation, and a free, yummy dinner. All meals are vegetarian, let us know any dietary restrictions and we'll gladly accommodate.

Schmitt Interfaith Center Sun Room (Upstairs in the SRL office)
This week's topic is: Faith Journeys. As we get to know each other this year we have the chance to see our faith from a more objective place as we unpack our bags a bit. Let's explore how storytelling and faith align as we say hello during a new year.

PCC was at Club Fair, did we meet you?
There is so much student life going on at RIT, club fair was a whirlwind. Drop a line if you or any of your folks met Chaplain Sam and PCC leadership. We'd love to catch up!
I know it's hard to meet your heroes but Bricky and I hit it off real well...

Q&A with Chaplain Sam:
We had a ton of feedback from the DEIA panel a few weeks ago, we've had students texting panelists questions about college, life and faith. Let's get some of those fantastic questions answered!
reverend, what is your church on campus and how do i join?
This one's a good start. PCC is open to anyone who is curious about where faith and identity intersect. You do not need to believe in God to crave community or feel yourself resonating with spirituality. Get curious and take that first step: show up to one of our Tuesday events every week at 5:00, email me for coffee, check out our neighbors at TABLE for Sunday evening worship, there's so many opportunities brewing this year. Maybe you even know ways we haven't considered yet... There's a ton of ways to get connected as PCC starts something new on campus. Blessings! |
