Our next meeting is this Monday! We will be welcoming Matthew Wright, Sovantharith Seng, and Saniat Sohrawardi for a tech talk about how racism affects technology. We'll see you in our regular location of GOL 2400 at 6:30pm!

COMS Source Code

Our social for accepted RIT students is this weekend from 2:00pm to 5:30pm! If you would like to help us welcome these students to RIT and learn more about our club, please fill out the following form ASAP! We have games planned, an informal tour, a student panel, and we have snacks available throughout the event.

Community Engagement Committee

As part of the Community Engagement Committee, you will help to build pathways for young people of color and underrepresented groups who are interested in computing. This committee will be making final preparations for COMS Source Code, our social for accepted students that will take place on March 25th and April 1st.

This week's meeting will be held in CYB 2791 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

Tech Projects Committee

The Tiger Games, our premier game jam, is coming up real soon! Join this committee to help plan for an exciting event with workshops, prizes, food, game-making, and more.

These meetings will be held on Thursdays in GOL 2400 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

GCCIS Spring Club Event

The Golisano Spring Club Event is tonight from 5:00pm - 8:00pm in the Golisano Atrium. Come visit our table for a painting activity and get to know all of the other clubs within the college. Due to this event, there will be no Academic Haven today.

The Tiger Games

Are you ready to put your game development skills to the test? Join us from April 8th to April 9th for our premier game jam, the Tiger Games! A game jam is a 24-hour event where all participants create games from scratch for the chance to win prizes. Everyone is welcome regardless of their experience in game design. We'll have swag, delicious food, and a workshop to help you prepare. If you have any questions about our event, please email us at coms@rit.edu.
