Cross by Liz Valente
Image Description: A black and white depiction of Christ's journey towards the cross. Beams of light appear before the long road Jesus must traverse to the cross, the tomb, and beyond. The sparse landscape around the cross reveals the singularity and focus Christ must find.
This week is our chance to walk together. Never too fast; never rushing God's timing in our lives. Arm in arm with Christ we too shall grow in our faith. What a week of growth, what a week of well-paced faith.
Keep finding your footing, RIT. Christ will meet us each step of the way. Allelujah!

Christianity is Weird:
Which of these international Easter traditions is your favorite? I'm really into the pot throwing to scare away ghosts in Corfu, Greece. As someone who sings out loud to scare away ghosts after I watch a scary movie, I get it.

Holy Week with PCC:
There's tons to do, y'all! Here's some offerings to celebrate resurrection on its way:
- Maundy Thursday we'll head over to Rush Methodist Church for a 7:00 worship service. It'll be our chance to contemplate and reflect the nature of community and service before Good Friday.
- On Good Friday we'll honor sabbath and allow the pain of the cross to resonate in our spirits. Take care of yourself; if you'd like an invitation to a local congregation for some reflection or worship, let me know. We have tons of friends in the community who will be doing Stations of the Cross or solemn worship that day.
- Then we invite the resurrection! Easter Sunrise (-ish) worship will be at UR along the banks of the Genesee River at 8:30 AM. Board member former PCC Chaplain Greg will be playing guitar, see you there?
- Easter Worship! 5:00 @ UR's Interfaith Chapel. The hats, the grandeur, the brass, the flowers. This year we'll debut our in-house PCC student brass band INCLUDING RIT student Finn C. Wear your cutest ensemble and join us for beautiful worship, we'd love to see RIT represented at worship.
Phew! Then we nap. Blessed Holy Week, all. So proud of how hard you're working.
