Hello Tigers!
RIT Beekeeping Club members were treated to an informative presentation on beekeeping by Cornell master beekeeper Kira Avery!
Keep an eye out for upcoming events and hive inspections. Now that it's getting colder, hive inspections will be shifting away from the triweekly format so our bees stay nice and warm!
Our next hive inspection is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 10/5. We'll be doing mite treatments!

Hive Inspections
Make sure to fill out our hive inspection waiver before signing up to join us at a hive inspection! Some times have already been uploaded (weather permitting), and you can see all of the hive inspections on our sign up sheet here.
Anyone can join an inspection regardless of experience! Make sure to wear shoes with socks that completely cover your ankles and let the Bee Board member leading the hive inspection know if you have any known allergies to bee stings.
