COMS Community Mentorship Program

Are you interested in becoming a mentor or mentee? Sign up for our mentorship program using the form below! Our goal is to pair 1st and 2nd years with mentors that will provide support and guidance whether it be for classes, job search, or just navigating college.

Own Your Greatness: Silence the Imposter Syndrome Voice

Monday, February 6th at 6:30pm

Every Monday of the month, COMS will be partnering with Counseling and Psychological Services (CaPS) for a mental health workshop. With classes in full swing and the career fair approaching, we wanted to take time to discuss imposter syndrome and navigate how to overcome these feelings. See you this Monday!

ECCO Game Night!

Mark your calendars, the Engineers of Color Creating Opportunities (ECCO) is hosting a game night in the Xerox Auditorium on Wednesday, February 8th at 6:30pm! Join them for a night of fun team games and get to know more people from different RIT clubs! 

Community Engagement Committee

Flower City Hacks planning is now underway! If you would like to be a part of this adventure or other endeavors to build pathways for young people of color and underrepresented groups, meetings will be held in CYB 2791 on Fridays at 6:30pm. Can't make it in person? These meetings will also be available on Zoom!

Looking for a place to study? Every Thursday in GOL 2400 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, COMS will be having our Academic Haven which will serve as a study time for students to do homework, work on projects, or take time to decompress. Come drop by!
