COMS Community Mentorship Program
We are launching our Mentorship Program in February! If you would like to sign up to be a mentor or a mentee, please fill out the form below. Our Mentorship Program's goal is to pair 1st and 2nd years with upperclassmen who will be able to guide them through the obstacles faced when navigating college.
As part of the Community Engagement Committee, you will help to build pathways for young people of color and underrepresented groups to embrace the current tech marketplace and join the computing field when looking at higher education.
In the Tech Projects Committee, you will get a chance to participate in various tech projects with and for the COMS community. This includes volunteering in large-scale technical events and getting more involved with COMS within the RIT community.
Starting in February, COMS will be hosting our Academic Haven in GOL 2400. Academic Haven serves as a safe space where students can study, work on homework, or review class materials in a supportive environment. Come drop by! We'll be there every Thursday in GOL 2400 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

Our next meeting is this upcoming Monday, January 30th! Do you have questions you want to ask upperclassmen about your major or any future classes you want to take? Join us for a student panel to hear from a variety of GCCIS majors about their experience at RIT so far.
