Subject: PULSE: Training Details for Sunday August 27th





Good evening RIT 365 Facilitators,

We are SO excited to see you all TOMORROW for Liftoff Day! Please be sure to review all of
the information from the previous PULSE email sent Monday evening to be sure you know where to go and when to
be there!  Also, please double check your time and location for tomorrow on the last tab of the RIT 365 Section Assignments document.  A few rooms might have changed since the first time we shared the Liftoff schedule with everyone.   

The below content is to give you some information regarding in-person Facilitator training this Sunday:

TRAINING LOCATION
Training will take place on the 2nd floor of Louise Slaughter Hall (SLA/Building 078). Parking
lot J is the closest lot to this building.  Here is a link for the Campus Map with buildings and parking for your reference.  

GENERAL SCHEDULE
Training on Sunday will begin at 9am and conclude at 5pm for new Facilitators and Facilitators with one year of experience (R1).  All returning facilitators with more than one year of experience (R2+) will join training from 1pm-5pm. 

We will be providing fruit and continental breakfast items, lunch, and a light afternoon snack. If you prefer to drink something other than coffee, tea, or water, please bring your own desired beverage as well as water bottle.  

We will begin training promptly at 9am. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before so you can check-in and get your training materials. If you’d like to enjoy some breakfast, please plan arrive earlier.  Breakfast service will be avaialble beginning 8:30am.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
ÔùÅ Masks are optional on campus with the exception of the Health Center and public transportation. Keep in mind that approximately 160 Facilitators will be joining you at training and there will be a significant amount of group work.
ÔùÅ Dress comfortably and also in a way that represents the professionalism of the role (i.e. jeans = yes, sweatpants = no).
ÔùÅ Breaks are built in throughout the day.
ÔùÅ There is no need for laptops or tablets.
