Hello Tigers!

Our next meeting will be a nature walk around campus this Saturday, 4/22 at 3pm. We'll meet at the Sentinel statue!

Next week the Beekeeping Club will be having our final sale of the school year! Come by the SAU and the Sentinel statue next Wednesday, 4/26 starting at 9:30am to buy honey and crafts!

RIT Beekeeping Club members were busy this past week, making wax wraps and checking up on Hive A! Read more below.

This Week's Hive Updates

Top box

- 2 full frames of honey
- 1 partial frame of honey/pollen
- Four frames of brood (beautiful setup, see picture above)
Bottom box

Several members of the Beekeeping Club gathered around a hive, preparing to inspect it.

Wax Wrap Making!

Club members met in the 1829 Room this past weekend to make beeswax wraps.

These wraps are eco-friendly alternatives to plastic wrap. If you weren't able to make it to the meeting, we'll be selling some wraps at our sale next Wednesday, 4/26.

Get Connected!

We have a Discord where we frequently send out reminders about meetings, hive inspections, and honey extractions. Make sure to join here to have access to this information!
