PCC News for Tuesday, March 25th:

Image ID: In the corner of a cabin, a small white FLOOFY dog stands on its hind legs next to a sneaker. The curl of his tail and the big smile on his face reveal that he's looking out a window at some trees, but we know he sees a deer. Will the deer play with him and be his new friend? Only time will tell.
If we could only face the new day like Kaz, the world would be a better place.
Happy Tuesday, PCC. We have been so proud of you for the ways you're showing up and taking names. Find the helpers this week, in times of difficulty it's important to breathe deep and allow ourselves to see things with as much as clarity as we've got.
This week will define PCC's legacy for years to come, all we gotta do is show up. Eeee!

~*~* Christianity is Magic*~*~

I spent a ton of time finding Sanctuary in churches growing up, I used to spend hours sitting and appreciating every detail of the room. It's such a feat of art, faith, and design to make a Sanctuary unique and appealing.
Lo and behold, Lake Avenue Baptist Church! They're a neat community of justice-seekers with a huge Burmese population. Old school hippie church that has great music, the acoustics in the Sanctuary are pingy and alive.
Last Wednesday some UR PCCers and our Associate Chaplain Evann (who you'll get to know Friday) went for free-and-yummy community supper and to hear from the Genesee Land Trust. Some GLT staffers taught us about a new park proposal that is underway along the Genesee River. It'll take a while, but we're going to have more green space! About time.
This one's not too complicated, we just like churches doing the work. I love all those plants and the warm 70s color of this Sanctuary. Feels like sanctuary.
Coming Up:
- PCC Discord's here! Can't wait to grow our community into digital spaces. Let's spend a week or two puttering around getting to know it and each other.
- Drop-in Counseling is happening today! See you 2:30 - 4:00 at my office just off of Fireside Lounge. Put your name on the dry erase board and knock if you want to wait in line, can't wait to catch up.
