CSTEP Book Voucher FAQs

Can I use my book vouchers outside of Akademos or be reimbursed if I use a different website? Funds cannot be transferred outside of Akademos and students can not be reimbursed for purchases outside of the Akademos website.

Can I purchase recommended books/supplies from Akademos? Only required books, as stated in the course syllabus can be purchased using CSTEP Book Vouchers through Akademos.

Why was my book voucher smaller this semester? There are a couple reasons why your voucher might be different this semester. (1) As our CSTEP student membership grows, our budget must change to accomodate more students. (2) You may only be in partial good standing, which will effect the amount of your voucher. See the "good standing" policy for more information.

If I don't use my voucher this semester, will it roll over to next semester? No, book vouchers do not roll over to the next semester. If you do not use your voucher by the expiration date, 2/9, it will go to a waitlisted student.
