Image ID: A crowd of people wave palms and walk through a well-lit Sanctuary. The wooden empty chairs reflect overhead afternoon light. The warmth of the movement and voices is balanced by the cool gray stone in the architecture just below the Chapel's stained glass windows. The crowd is led by a small yellow haired child wearing a blue shirt, looks like this is going to go on for a while.
Hosanna! Here we are. We have taken every step needed to get here, now we walk to the cross together. This Holy Week will be a steady walk, even if it feels like a crawl for some of us.
May these days crackle and hum with a-n-t-i-c-i-pation, thank God for the ways we will gather together and refill our well no matter what. By the time we get to Sunday, our wells will be filled. Then, who knows?

Worship Remix Tonight: Music & Meaning
PRISM (Up near Fireside Lounge)
5:00 - 6:00ish
This evening's music & meaning group listen will be centered around our personal anthems. We'll split the hair a bit, we've done theme songs in the past, but this is going to be a bit more interior. What's the song that keeps the engine moving? What's the song that reminds you the flickering candle flame won't go out?
Can't wait to see what y'all bring, I'm done with my mental health programs so I'll stay for the duration. Yay!
SRL Interfaith Fair tomorrow:

PCC leaders Atticus and Finn will be tabling to talk about the goings-on between PCC and our friends at TABLE at fireside from 1-4 on Wed! Come say hi, bring them a lovely snack or something cute.
This will be a great way to learn about what our interfaith and ecumenical neighbors are doing, thanks to SRL for setting it up!
~*~* Christianity is Magic*~*~
Have you listened to the All-Female Cast Album of Jesus Christ Superstar? LET'S GO! While I have a lot of favorite cast albums, we're talking top 5 ever here. It hits every mark.
It's got Cynthia Erivo doing some of her best work, don't miss Shoshana Bean's Judas. Plus the production and band are top notch. The rhythmic late 60s early prog madness in the score is such a balm in seasons of chaos. (Internal, domestic, or international.) This show recognizes and names suffering-mess in a way that has always brought me close to God.
Plus, it's meant to be aural! JCS started as a concept album before they staged it, Andrew Lloyd Webber has always been able to put the listener / audience in a phenomenal imaginative place. It was developed to be imagined, rather than seen.
Thank goodness these women brought the sacred femme out of the work, it's always been there. Pump up the volume on this and let it rip, we all need to scream into the void these days.
Coming Up:
- There is a TON of Holy Week activities going on between RIT and UR's River campus. Here's a handy document to break down what happens when, feel free to add some fanart via discord if you want to make it more shiny and appealing to the eye.
- PCC Discord's here! Can't wait to grow our community into digital spaces. Let's spend a week or two puttering around getting to know it and each other.
- Drop-in Counseling is happening today! See you 2:30 - 4:00 at my office just off of Fireside Lounge. Put your name on the dry erase board and knock if you want to wait in line, can't wait to catch up.
