PCC News for Tuesday, November 26th:

Image Description: A quiet portion of a room, big windows and a sunken floor. An empty wooden table with bench seats looks inviting. Farther back there is a couch and comfy chair below a piece of wooden art resembling Pac Man or a fish's face. The room sits with stillness in the gray winter light.
Over the weekend a friend from Cornell took me to a local Zen retreat center for a day to recharge. The staff was lovely -- we cooked together, laughed about things over vegetarian lunch, then all took space to nap and read. I can't wait to take you all there; we can do a PCC retreat before long.
I hope you and yours find every bit of stillness in the days ahead. Time to process and pray. Time to let things settle. Well done getting here, I am thankful for each of you.

No Worship Remix tonight!
After polling some students I've heard that time and rest are the top of the list this week.
Have a fantastic break, we'll be back next Tuesday for our last Dinner Dialogue of the semester where we talk about Advent, Waiting, and Faith.
~*~* Christianity is Magic*~*~
Hello musical theatre nerds, I want to hear about your Christological allegorical argument regarding Wicked.
Is Elphaba the Jesus stand-in? Sure, through one line of reasoning. That's easy.
Does Glinda's sacrifice for the people feel worthy?
Dr. Dillamond...? (Could it be?)
I saw the movie last night, I have thoughts.
Send an email, voice note me, whatever it takes to have this very important discussion.
Coming Up:
- Games Can Help is one week closer! Check out this cool flyer we made, pass it along. Please join us as a volunteer! We'd love the help.
