Image ID: A bustling Manhattan street, cars and taxis zoom past. We see pre-war buildings, the old NYC kind with high vaulted ceilings and big windows. A Burlington Coat Factory smack dab in the middle. Spray painted on a white truck being unloaded is the statement: "New York is the end of your past and place of rebirth."
It's been eons since we've gathered. From my awful cold to Spring Break, we've been ships in the night for far too long. It's time to spend some time together welcoming Spring, folks.
The buds are a'blooming, our spirits are waking to the work of mercy and justice. Cannot wait to get to all the business ahead with the energy we've got. Let's gooooooo.

This week's theme isssss.... THAW! Last year we had a welcome Spring M&M with "Heat it Up," this will be a slightly different texture.

PS I'm going to be leaving around 5:45 for the next few weeks as I co-teach a Mental Health + Spirituality workshop at UR through the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab. I know yall can party fine without me, wahoo!

~*~* Christianity is Magic*~*~
Do you like your Christianity integrated and mystic?
Yesterday I had a working lunch with my dear friend Rev. Kenneth McIntosh, he's a fellow UCC Minister and has written and published a LOT on the apex between Celtic theology and Christian teaching. When I have time for some summer reading I'm going to soak in his meditative text Water From an Ancient Well.
PCC Pagans might find some deep meaning in his book Brigid's Mantle which traces how Pagan and Christian practice both have their roots in Celtic mythos.
It's so neat to see that none of us are too fringe or too weird to do our work. Meeting Kenneth was a dream, now we're buddies. Hope his work inspires you to do yours.
Don't Forget:
- PCC Discord's here! Can't wait to grow our community into digital spaces. Let's spend a week or two puttering around getting to know it and each other.
- Drop-in Counseling is happening today! See you 2:30 - 4:30 at my office just off of Fireside Lounge. Put your name on the dry erase board and knock if you want to wait in line, can't wait to catch up.
- I'm taking ASL this semester, it's so fulfilling. Want to help practice and build some community?
