Affinity Fair

The Affinity Networking Reception is Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 3-5 p.m. in the Gordon Field House Upper Mezzanine! Students from special interest affinity groups can meet with employers who are committed to recruiting a diverse and talented workforce the night before the University-Wide Career Fair.

We highly recommend that you attend whether you are looking for future positions, networking, or would like to experience this event. The dress code is business attire. If you would like to attend as a representative of COMS, sign up using the link here!

Community Engagement Committee

As part of the Community Engagement Committee, you will help to build pathways for young people of color and underrepresented groups who are interested in computing. Contribute to crafting meaningful experiences for students exploring COMS and RIT. Whether it's Open Houses, Flower City Hacks (middle school mini-hackathon), or Brick City Weekend!

This week's meeting will be held tomorrow, September 25th, in GOL-1610 from 11:30am - 12:30pm. If you want to be involved and can't come to the meetings, check out the committee notes which will be posted in discord!

Tech Projects Committee

In the Tech Projects Committee, you will get a chance to participate in various tech projects with and for the COMS community. This includes volunteering and planning large-scale technical events such as the Tiger Games, and getting more involved with COMS within the RIT community.

This week's meeting will be held on friday, from 5-6pm in GOL 2500. If you want to be involved and can't come to the meetings, check out the committee notes which will be posted in the discord!
