We are excited to invite you to two upcoming Pre-Health Society events designed to help you explore healthcare careers and connect with researchers here at RIT. Whether you're interested in clinical medicine, surgery, or research opportunities, these events are a great way to learn more and get involved.
🩺 White Coat Wednesday – Topic: Surgery

Our next White Coat Wednesday will focus on surgery. During this session, we’ll talk about the surgical field, training pathways, and what a career in surgery can look like. This event is a great opportunity for students interested in medicine or healthcare to ask questions, learn about different specialties, and gain insight into the experiences of those in the field.
Whether you’re already considering a surgical career or just curious about the profession, we encourage you to come join the discussion.
🔬 ResearchDiscovery Night

⏰ 4:00–6:00 PM
📍 Gosnell Atrium
We are also hosting our Research Discovery Night, where several RIT faculty researchers will be present to share information about their labs and current research projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet professors, learn about research happening across different departments, and explore potential research opportunities.
Faculty researchers from fields such as biomedical sciences, psychology, biochemistry, computational biophysics, and advanced biology will be attending. Students will have the chance to talk directly with researchers, ask questions about their work, and learn how to get involved in undergraduate research.
If you are considering joining a lab, gaining research experience, or simply want to see what kinds of research are happening at RIT, we highly encourage you to attend.
