Tech Crew employees are trained to access and distribute power from large electrical services installed around campus. Depending on your event needs, we are able to use our specialized electrical equipment to provide large amounts of power for expositions, concerts, social functions, and more.

Rigging Equipment/Services

In larger venues such as the Gordon Field House or Gene Polissenni Ice Arena, Tech Crew is able to fly equipment from structural supports built into the ceilings. Our available rigging equipment includes industry standard ground support lifts and CM Lodestar chain hoists. Our professional staff works closely with union certified rigging personnel to provide support for events requiring flown lights, speakers, cameras, or electrical cables.

Stage Risers

Tech Crew inventory includes 16" and 24" high stage risers that can be arranged to build various sizes of stages. All stages built by Tech Crew are tested for safety by trained student employees throughout the setup process. Stages are also draped with black linen skirts to look professional and aesthetically pleasing. If our available stage is not sufficient for your event needs, Tech Crew can also partner with outside vendors to provide stage risers from 16" to 72" in height.
