LGBTQIA+ Clubs & Organizations

OUTspoken is a Representative Student Organization (RSO) advocating for LGBTQIA+ students on campus. They work within Student Government to empower students, to educate the RIT community at large on LGBTQIA+ issues, and to represent the needs and concerns faced by the LGBTQIA+ students on campus.

Their office is located in the A-Level of the Campus Center, room A635.

Tangent is a group for those who are transgender, non-binary, gender-nonconforming, or those who are questioning their own gender. They have a weekly support group-style meeting.

RitGA is RIT’s LGBTQ+ Alliance, meant for everyone of the LGBTQ+ community as well as allies. They aim to make a safe space where people can learn about queer culture, receive support, and find a sense of community.

Meetings are Wednesdays at 9pm via zoom.

Enby is RIT's support group for nonbinary, genderqueer, gender nonconforming, and gender questioning students and alumni. They meet weekly, and hold a mix of support group style meetings and other events.

Drag Club is focused on spreading the importance of queer art and providing a safe haven for gender expression for LGBTQ+ individuals. They host drag shows throughout the semester, as well as viewing parties of media including drag performers. Their meetings educate on the art of drag. All are welcome.
