Details
A Jam is where you make either a game or animation in an allotted amount of time. It is an excellent way to make your first piece of digital content and a great way to work with other people.
// WHEN //
It will run from 9:30 am - 6 pm on Saturday, April 1st- Sunday, April 2nd.
//WHO//
This event is $5 and open to the public. You must be 18+. No prior game development or animation skills are necessary; we'll find a way to work you in to a team!
// WHERE //
RIT MAGIC Center
// THEME //
The theme of Jam for Hope is to create something that will motivate and uplift kids and young adults facing illness and grief. We want to inspire them to get through the most difficult times in their lives by bringing powerful inspiration, support, and the knowledge that they can be strong, they can be vulnerable, but they can be heroes too!
Be sure to share this with anyone you think would be interested! Whether they're an artist, musician, or anyone who wants to try their hand at making games or animation, we have room for them.
