About Us

La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated primarily seeks to take a leadership role in meeting the needs of the Latino community through academic achievement, cultural awareness, community service and promotion of the Latino culture and people. Through these efforts we hope to affect change and provide our community with examples of leadership, integrity, and self-empowerment that will allow us to challenge adversity and inequality. Chapter History

The Omega Chapter of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. was founded on May 3rd 1997 by 'Los Padres de la Piedra'. Since our inception Omega Chapter Hermanos have worked tirelessly to expand and uphold the values of our organization. We have expanded from the University of Rochester to accept members from Nazareth College, Rochester Institute of Technology & St. John Fisher College

The Omega Chapter of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated was founded at The University of Rochester by 3 Hermanos also known as 'Los Padres de la Piedra'

Chapter Expansion
Spring 1999

The Omega Chapter of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated expanded to Nazareth College in Spring of 1999 with the addition of our Beta Class; 'Los Esculptores'

Spring 2000

The Omega Chapter of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated expanded to the Rochester Institution of Technology in Spring of 2000 with the addition of our Gamma Class; 'Soul Survivor'

The Omega Chapter of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated expanded to St. John Fisher College in Spring of 2003 with the addition of our Epsilon Class; 'La Esperanza y El Futuro'
