The Hult Prize challenges young people to solve the world's toughest issues by empowering them to make money, do good and make life better for millions of people through the creation of for-good for-profit businesses. To learn more about the purpose of the Hult Prize, go here. This year's challenge is Food for Good.

The kickoff event will educate interested RIT students about the topic and the Hult Prize, addressing questions and assisting with formation of teams of 3-4 students. Students will then prepare a 3-4 minute pitch presentation for a panel of judges. Your pitch will not be a fully formed idea, you'll have time and help to get to that point if you proceed through the competition in 2021. The ultimate prize for this worldwide competition hosted on over 2000 college campuses is $1m in start-up funding for your business.
