Hello All,
My name is Isabel Lopez and I am the 2020-'21 President of GU. On behalf of our e-board and myself, we would like to welcome you to Global Union! For those of you who may not know who we are, Global Union is a representative student organization (RSO) that represents nearly 2000 international students and the numerous cultural organizations at RIT.
Global Union, like all other RSOs, is part of Student Government and we are here to advocate for you. If there's any issues or concerns that you want to bring our attention to, please feel free to reach out to us and we will try our hardest to get you solutions or answers.
Even though this semester seems to be flying by and we are not all physically together, we are planning fun events for us all to enjoy! We are working around Covid-19 guidelines and are all working virtually but that won't stop us from giving you all a great year! Cultural Bites

Description: Pre-Covid this event was where affiliates promoted cultural diversity to RIT students with bite-sized cultural dishes and finger foods. Now, we will be sharing different cultural foods in a different, more socially-distanced manner - more info to come!
Halloween Extravaganza

Description: A Halloween-themed party, put on by Global Union and its affiliates, that is full of fun activities, dancing, and food. See events from different on-campus organizations throughout the night!
