I wanted to take a moment to welcome our new GCCIS Honors students to RIT. We're excited for a great year! 
GCCIS Honors has a Campus Groups page where you can find information about upcoming events and trips as well as apply for travel and research grants. 

Welcome/Welcome Back Event

Every year we like to hold an event early in the semester when our new students can meet returning Honors students, leave campus, and venture further out into the city of Rochester. 
We'd like to invite you to join us on Friday, September 15 at a Rochester Red Wings baseball game. Even if you aren't a huge baseball fan, it is still a really fun experience and a good excuse to eat stadium junk food. There is no cost to students and we take care of bus transportation from RIT and back, your seat in a reserved section, and Diamond Dollars that you can use at the concession stands. 
First-year students get to sign up first and then we will open up the remaining seats for returning students on Monday, Sept 4. So sign up soon if you would like to join us. 
The bus will leave RIT from the Cybersecurity wing of Golisano Hall at 5pm on 9/15. After the game, the bus will return to campus with drop-offs at both RIT dorms and the academic side.
