Mission
A Space is a group dedicated to establishing a safe space for those on the asexual and aromantic spectrum to meet and talk and learn and share ideas. Anyone on either spectrum, or anyone questioning whether they may be on either spectrum, is welcome to attend meetings. Meetings will mostly consist of a social aspect, a learning aspect, and a group discussion aspect, with group activities interspersed throughout each semester. A Space will also work together with the larger LGBTQIAP+ community and other queer organizations at RIT to make sure that the A is both accurately represented and included.

Enby is a support group for non-binary, gender-nonconforming, and gender-questioning students at RIT. At Enby, non-binary students should be able to discuss their personal experiences with being non-binary and ask other members of the community for advice on how to deal with non-binary issues. Anyone who does not identify as a binary gender or who is questioning their gender identity is welcome to attend. For the purpose of creating a safe and supportive environment, Enby is a group closed to people who do not identify outside of the gender binary or who are not questioning their gender identity.

Enby meets weekly. If you are interested in learning more about the group, please inquire at the Q Center.

OUTspoken is the major student organization that represents the LGBTQ+ community in RIT's student government. We advocate for change in RIT's policy and its community that benefit the well-being of the LGBTQ+ population in RIT. We work with RIT's queer-related clubs to coordinate efforts across RIT that enhance Queer culture and develop a strong sense of community with our affiliate clubs and LGBTQ+ students.
We also work with the Q Center and the Center for Women and Gender to provide appropriate support and resources for students who need help.

Tangent is a support group for transgender and gender-questioning students at RIT. At Tangent, such
students are able to discuss their personal experiences with being transgender and ask other members of the community for advice on how to deal with transgender issues. Anyone on the spectrum from questioning to having lived as trans for years is welcome to attend.
