At the Welcome Center, our highly trained staff will do their best to assist you in finding the answer to any question.
If you are in need of a note pad or pen, we have a limited supply and would be happy to supply you with one. We also have a stapler, tape, tissue, masks and hand sanitizer should you need to borrow.
Welcome Desk Staff will approve and post all flyers at eleven designated locations throughout the building. Flyers will remain hung for no more than one month and will be removed following the event date. Check Posting Procedures for more details.
Item found throughout the complex should be turned into staff at the Welcome Desk. Public Safety is called to collect any items of greater value. Any ID cards that are found will be destroyed within 48 hours and students are directed to visit the Office of the Registrar for a new ID free of charge. If you are looking for a lost item, please feel free to visit the Welcome Desk or call 585-475-6991 and a staff member will check the log. All collected items will be retained for a period of 30 days. After that period, all unclaimed items will be discarded or donated.
All Gender Restrooms
Two all gender restrooms are located on the A-Level of the Campus Center and Student Alumni Union.
Lactation Room
The Student Alumni Union hosts a lactation room on the A-Level. Access to this space can be requested by reaching out to tbccl@rit.edu
Prayer & Meditation Space
Located in the Schmitt Interfaith Center.
The Center for Campus Life hosts local and RIT affiliated vendors throughout the academic year in addition to annual Vending Sales each semester. Vending at RIT is a great opportunity to sell products and services to potentially thousands of students, faculty and staff members. Vendors are permitted to sell either inside the lobby or outside of the Student Alumni Union.
Vendors must agree to comply with all RIT policies and procedures at all times. No solicitation, recruitment, network marketing or solicitation of credit cards are permitted by any vendor. For more specific information regarding the Center for Campus Life's Vending Procedure, please feel free to reach out and check out our Vendor Agreement Form.

Brick City Café features a wide variety of breakfast, and lunch entrées with daily specials. They offer breakfast sandwiches, a breakfast grill, build your own salad station, daily entree specials, and daily vegetarian entree specials. Ben & Jerry's offers over 30 flavors of Vermont's best ice cream. Back in 1978 when Ben & Jerry's first served ice cream in their downtown Burlington, VT scoop shop, it was a place where friends hung out and good vibes flowed over euphoric flavors chock full of chunks and swirls. This still holds true right in the heart of the RIT campus. A variety of different dairy and non-dairy ice creams and sorbets, shakes, sundaes, cookies, and cakes are available.
