Aero Design is a multidisciplinary student team focused on designing, building, testing, and flying small-scale RC aircraft. Each year, the team works on unique and challenging projects that help members gain experience with aerodynamics, CAD software, physical construction, and the engineering process as a whole.
24 Hour access to the Aero Design Lab (after 1 semester of active involvement), flying trips, hands-on experience with composites, laser cutting, and aerodynamic concepts.
Our general meeting is every Saturday at 11 AM with team lunch around 1 PM. Other events include flying days at Martin Road Park and club outreach activities.
24-hour lab access, specialized modeling software training, tools and machinery available for use.
