Industry Perspective: Alumna Networking Event
Learn from an industry expert! Women in Technology welcomes Amy Zettlemoyer-Lazar for an evening of conversation focusing on packaging and sustainability careers - and even the benefits of living and working overseas. Amy Zettlemoyer-Lazar is Vice President of Global Corporate Sustainability at tms. She has held roles at tms and its parent company, HAVI, for more than 13 years in three countries (UK, Germany, and the US). Her current responsibilities include leading the coordination, execution, and merchandising of sustainability efforts across the organization including Reusable Drinkware Vessels, Quick Service Restaurant Packaging, and Promotional items to deliver more sustainable solutions in support of tms’ clients’ goals. Prior roles include leading Packaging Department at Sam’s Club and the Packaging Sustainable Value Network for Walmart Stores, Inc. Amy was also a Packaging Scientist for Clorox and Kraft Foods, with internships at both Kraft and Kodak. She is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a Packaging Science degree and holds a Masters of Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. She currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband, a career officer in the United States Air Force and her three teenage boys. Mending Night with WIT
Mending, Darning, Stitching, Hemming, Patchwork? Do you have a piece of clothing that is worn-out, torn, or just could use some embellishment? Join Women in Technology for a hands-on evening of stitching/mending. We'll have all the supplies and will show a few different hand-sewing techniques - you bring the garments!
