Hey TBTC Family! 

School to Prison Pipeline & Internalized Racism 

Join us this Friday for an insightful discussion on the education system in the black community. In this event we will shed light on the origins and development of the school to prison pipeline and how its impact has disproportionately affected students of color. We will also address topics such as responsibility/accountability, materialism, burnout/motivation, self-esteem, and more. We hope to see you there and get your thoughts on the topic!  

Freshmen Roll Call!

 
TBTC is looking for freshmen representatives! Come join our eboard and develop some leadership skills. This is a great opportunity you don't want to miss out on. Send us an email or dm us on instagram if you're interested. Elections will be held at the end of the semester.

Mentor Mentee Dinner Save the Date

 
Attention Mentors and Mentees! We will be having a Mentor-Mentee Dinner on Friday December 2nd. Put the date in your calendar! In addition to the dinner we will be having a friendly competition to see which pairs know each other best! A form will be sent to all mentors asking if you will be attending and who your mentee is. This event is exclusive to people in the program who have built a rapport with their mentor/mentee and register for the event. This is not the end of the program but will serve as a way to check in with everyone and wrap up the semester. We hope to see you there!
