About the College of Engineering Technology Student Advisory Board

The Student Advisory Board for the College of Engineering Technology was founded on the principles of inclusion, diversity and freedom of thought and expression. With these principles in mind, this Body’s Members are hereby tasked with the goal of not only engaging students in a variety of ways, but also to represent them.

Through engaging Students, this body will forge and create a new culture for The College of Engineering Technology. They will facilitate environments and create new spaces that will make Students feel included, and further their understanding of their fellow peers. These environments and new spaces will be the foundation of Student life for College of Engineering Technology Students.

By representing the Students of the College of Engineering Technology, the Members of this Body will ensure that problems Students are facing are either solved or addressed, and that their voices are heard in every conversation and decision made concerning their experience, both in terms of education and Student Life.

The Members of this body will be responsible for forging a new idea of what it means to be a Student in the College of Engineering Technology. They will create a new culture in the college and be the foundation for which Students’ voices shall be heard from.
