Give your clothes new life and reduce waste by joining us for our Campus Sustainability Month Repair Fair & Clothing Swap!

Bring in clothing that needs a little love—whether it’s hemming pants, taking in a shirt, or patching up a hole—and our volunteers will help you learn simple repair techniques to extend your wardrobe’s life.

At the same time in the SHED Atrium, refresh your closet sustainably by swapping clothes with other community members. What no longer serves you may become someone else’s new favorite piece! Join Bern's Closet and RIT Sustainability for an open clothing swap to upgrade your wardrobe! This is a free way for you to donate some of your old clothing and check out new pieces. Bringing of clothing is not required, but it can help us out! You will be able to try clothing on before taking as well as learn about the services our offices offer. Bring your friends, and maybe you'll finally find that one top you've been looking for these past few months!

This event is about more than clothes—it’s about rethinking our relationship with consumption, learning useful skills, and building community through sharing and care.
