Join us to spread joy and biodiversity by planting native grasses at Tait Preserve! No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity, willingness to lend a hand, and an openness to enjoy the fresh air and calm of the beautiful scenery. By planting a host of different native wildflowers, we can attract and nourish our native species of birds, bees, moths, and butterflies. After, enjoy light refreshments and a special activity (seed balls!) in the Leenhouts Lodge.

There will be a limited number of seats in the van (12) so carpooling is suggested. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes, and appropriate clothes to accommodate the weather - and that you won't mind getting a little dirty. Vans will be leaving from Gracie's at RIT at 10:30am.

Tait Preserve is RIT's beautiful landscape of hills, forests and water, the Tait Preserve provides unique opportunities for the RIT Community to engage with the natural world. Visit rit.edu/arenas/tait-preserve to learn more.
Food Provided (Light refreshments will be offered)
