Join us for the first meeting of our discussion group, Queering Politics and Philosophy. We will spend some time discussing what we, as a group, hope to accomplish this semester and getting acquainted with one another before moving on to our first topic: Normalcy.

What is at stake in the concept(s) of (hetero/homo)normativity? What are the benefits hazards of LGBTQIA+ peoples assimilating into the mainstream, both morally and politically?

Recommended readings for this meeting are posted on a special my courses. I strongly encourage anyone interested to read them but do not let that stop you from attending. Please email me for access to these documents. Tpcccl@rit.eu
